Malibu Grand Prix is an entertainment company that was popular during the 1970s and 1980s as a franchised miniature indy car racing track. The typical complex included a 3000-4000 square foot arcade with a concession stand and a race track outside, covering around 10,000 to 20,000 square feet altogether. Others also had batting cages, possibly a second arcade, water-related attractions (such as bumper boats) and even miniature golf courses.
At its height of popularity, there were dozens of facilities across the United States. Fellow entertainment company FunWerks bought out the Malibu chain at one point during the 1990s, although they ended up filing for bankruptcy in 2004 and its Malibu locations that they had taken over closed.
In 2002, Palace Entertainment purchased the three remaining independently owned Malibu Grand Prix locations. Some of the old Malibu locations have been renamed to Boomers! Parks since September, 2014, along with new facilities being opened across the country. Along with all the attractions of a Malibu Grand Prix, these facilities also have rock walls and restaurants.

The location closed on September 4, 2017. The final message from their official site (as of early 2019) stated thanks to "the Boomers! Family and the Fresno community for all of their support".
