Chuck E. Cheese Monroe at 3731 Pecanland Mall Drive was a family friendly entertainment center operated by Chuck E. Cheese in Monroe, Louisiana, USA.

History[]

Monroe's location opened on July 9, 2011 with a Studio C Beta and the Phase 4 design. It also featured the 2013 update to the CEC 2005 Remodel Program, which included early Rockstar decor.

The location reopened in May of 2021 after being closed for over a year due to the company's bankruptcy.

Around late 2023, the location received the 2016 cards update. Which would result in the removal of several token games as well as new games.

The location closed permanently in August of 2024 due to underperformance, possibly due to the 2019 opening of a 60,000 square-foot Tilt Studio family entertainment center nearby.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The Chuck E. Cheese Animatronic was installed incorrectly onto to show, causing the bot's eyelids to be stuck upwards and for the head to be stuck tilted for years. The Show itself was updated at some point in the second half of the 2010's (2017 to 2020) to have LED lighting; at the same time, new fur arms, jeans, feet, and miscellaneous repairs for the Chuck E. Animatronic.
