Games, Games, Games was an arcade within Memorial City in Houston, Texas. It was located near the most northwestern entrance, approximately where the Houston Tinplate Operators Society is located as of 2023. At the time, this was the hall proceeding west from the passage to Montgomery Ward (now the entrance to Target). The games originally ran on quarters, then switched to tokens later.

Background[]

Memorial City is a mall that was built in Houston, Texas that opened for business in 1966. The mall has since grown to be one of the city's more popular malls, mostly due to a large renovation project that took place in the early 2000s. It currently houses over 140 stores and services. The mall is located at 303 Memorial City (formerly known as 900 Gessner Road).

Trivia[]

Games, Games, Games was in good company with many other game rooms in the Mall during the arcade boom, as Quiptar's, Quiptar's II, Green's, Celebrity Cafe (two doors down), the Memorial Theater and Games also existed at the same time. However, Games, Games, Games also suffered the same fate of most of the other game rooms in the Mall, going out of business not long after the video game crash of 1983-1984 hit.
