Gold Mine at the Almeda Mall was an arcade that was established in Houston, Texas in the 1970s.
Background[]
Gold Mine was a chain of arcades found inside various shopping malls across the United States from Hawaii to New York, along with some also existing in standalone locations. They were notable for having a mineshaft theme.
This Gold Mine location was at the northeastern entrance to the mall, opposite Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour. It was later succeeded by Tilt (Almeda Mall).
