Gold Mine was a chain of arcades found inside various shopping malls across the United States from Hawaii to New York, along with some also existing in standalone locations. They were notable for having a mineshaft theme.
West Oaks Mall is a regional shopping mall located in the Alief area of the west side of Houston, Texas, U. S. A., that opened in 1984. It is located at Westheimer Road and Highway 6. Anchor stores include a Dillard's Clearance Store, Edwards Theaters, Macy's, and Sears. The mall primarily serves the Alief and Energy Corridor areas of Houston, and serves as the closest non-outlet mall to most of Houston's western suburbs including the Greater Katy and Fulshear areas. Pacific Retail Capital Partners owns the mall as a joint venture with Square Mile Capital Management, and is managed by PRCP Management and Collarmele Partners.

Trivia[]
Gold Mine was owned by Nickels and Dimes Inc. (NDI) located in Carrollton, Texas. They also operated the Tilt and Electronic America chains as well until they finally decided to just focus on Tilt. All Gold Mines would either become Tilts or they were just closed down.
