Malibu Grand Prix is a chain of entertainment facilities situated in the United States where a typical location has a race track for go-carts and an arcade. Some facilities also have batting cages, water carts and/or miniature golf courses.

The Malibu Grand Prix at 6115 Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas, had the usual race track, miniature golf course, and an arcade full of games that ran on tokens.

Additional information[]

  • Due to prolonged construction on the nearby Southwest Freeway where this Malibu center was located making it difficult for clientele to access the area eventually forced its closure.
  • This location is known for the infamous murders of several employees on July 1, 1983, committed by Richard James Wilkerson, who had been fired from this Malibu center. Wilkerson and several accomplices killed four employees in one of the restrooms. As of late 2016, only one of the accomplices still remains in prison, whereas the others involved in the murders have been executed.
