Background[]

Pipe Organ Pizza was a chain of restaurants found across the United States which, like the similar Chuck E. Cheese's, had locations that served pizza (along with also having a salad bar), animatronic puppets and either several arcade games or a separate arcade room with games. Also as the name stated, live organ shows were also performed, with a projection screen coming down and showing Three Stooges clips and cartoons during an organist break.

There was a Pipe Organ Pizza at Monroe and Interstate 45 in Houston, Texas for several years, having several video and pinball games.

  • At this location, there was a bell over the organ, which would be rung right before the organist would start playing. Employees also dressed up in Pink Panther and Scooby-Doo costumes.
