Donnie Darko is an American horror/mystery film (with some science fiction elements) that was released in 2001. Jake Gyllenhaal plays the lead of the movie's namesake, who is an intelligent but troubled teen that clashes with family and various personnel at his school. He fulfills orders from Frank, a six foot tall man that only he can see that mostly wears a rabbit suit. Elements of the past, present and future collide as Frank's orders to Darko become more sinister due to Frank's warning of the world coming to an end within a 30 day period in October, 1988.
There is a brief scene in the film when Darko and his girlfriend are in an arcade.
